Eucalyptus Essential Oil
Eucalyptus essential oil is the best solution to get rid of any infections, including bacterial, viral or fungal infections. The oil consists of Eucalyptol, a highly effective antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving ingredient.
The Uses of Eucalyptus Essential Oil:
Eucalyptus Essential Oil is widely used to treat respiratory tract infections such as cold, running nose, and more! It also helps in curing insect bites and relieve to itch of it.
When Should You Use Eucalyptus Essential Oil?
When you have sinus:
In a boiling water, add 2 drops of eucalyptus essential oil into it. Beware of hot water while doing this. Once added, inhale directly from the bowl for at least 5 minutes.
When you have bad breath:
After brushing your teeth, add 2 drops of eucalyptus oil into a cup of water and rinse it in your mouth. Treat it like a normal mouth rinse, just DO NOT swallow it!
When you have insect bites:
With the introduction of eucalyptus essential oil, insect bites aren't really that scary anymore. Mix 2 drops of eucalyptus oil with coconut oil, and apply the mixture around the bite area 3 times per day until fully recovers.
If you're having a sore throat:
If you stayed up late the previous night, or had spicy food for the week, chances are - you're having slight sore throat by now. Mix 2 drops of eucalyptus essential oil with coconut oil and gently rub around the neck and throat area to sooth the sore.
If you're coughing a lot:
Never drink or ingest essential oils! If you're coughing a lot, mix 2 drops of eucalyptus oil with half tablespoon of coconut oil and rub the mixture gently around your chest and back of neck to ease the cough.
Example of Eucalyptus Essential Oil Usages:
- In order to keep your toilet sparkling clean, mix 7 drops of eucalyptus essential oil along with 5 drops of tea tea essential oil and 2 cups of water, and then pour the mixture into the toilet bowl.
- Athletes use eucalyptus oil mixture to reduce muscle tension and muscle pain.
