The victim is a Taiwanese man in his 60s from central Taiwan. He had been working as a taxi driver for several years. Since the virus outbreak, he is one of the 20 cases with confirmed infection, and was hospitalised on Feb 3.
Unfortunately, things didn't make out for him. Last Saturday (Feb 15), he passed away and the reason was confirmed to be the viral infection.
Up till date, Taiwan has 20 confirmed cases of the virus. The death was the 5th outside of mainland China. Other fatalities have occurred in Japan, Hong Kong, France and the Philippines.
Officials traced phone records and security camera footage of the victim and confirmed that he had no recorded contact with any of the 19 other people diagnosed with the coronavirus in Taiwan.
“He does not have the record of travelling to China, and it is likely that he was infected by a sick traveller from China”, says the experts.
According to a statement from Taiwan's Centre of Disease Control, he had not recently travelled overseas, especially China. Since the virus outbreak, the victim was taken care by the local hospital.
The authorities are trying to identify everyone who came into contact with the taxi driver. Officials are looking through his travel logs while working and security camera footage showing passengers he picked up recently too.
While authorities can't find a cure yet, they urge all of us to keep our car clean. Coronavirus spreads via the air, and sitting in the same car is the best chance for the virus to circulate around the car.
Local authorities are urging everyone, not just in Thailand, but the whole world to clean their car AT LEAST ONCE every day.
If you're taking bus or taxi, there's a chance for you to be infected by this virus. You will never know if the person beside you is a carrier. This coronavirus can be hidden for days, or weeks.
There are numerous ways to clean the air, but most of them are using harmful chemicals. After researching, we finally found a fully natural way for all of us to clean the air.
Essential oils had been used since 1800s to kill viruses and bacterias up to 99.95% effectiveness, and they can be used to kill this harmful virus in 2020 too. So far, Tea Tree Oil has proven to be the best to kill coronavirus.
Antibacterial
The oil has been used for almost 100 years as a healing treatment in Australia, particularly for skin conditions. Today it is used for a number of conditions.
Tea tree oil is probably best known for its antibacterial activity.
Some research suggests that the broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity associated with the oil comes from its ability to damage the cell walls of bacteria. More research is needed to understand how it might work.
Antiviral
Tea tree oil has antiviral properties that have proven to be effective against common pathogens. A 2001 study found that a combination of tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil worked effectively against the herpes simplex virus.
A 2013 study found that tea tree oil could prevent the spread of influenza. While tests have not yet been conducted on tea tree oil’s effectiveness against HPV, it’s certainly a possibility.
Air Purifier
Add a few drops of Tea Tree Oil to a Car Diffuser to purify the air naturally. For a scented boost, you can always add a few drops of another essential oil, such as lavender.
After searching for many reliable sources, we found a very durable and strong Car Diffuser that diffuses strong mist right after it is plugged into the car socket.
This SoothOil Car Diffuser is the perfect match, and the package comes along with one bottle of Tea Tree Oil too.
If you have multiple vehicles at home, we highly recommend to get one for each car.
